Elizabeth Pepin and her husband David have started up Potrero Industries, showcasing both of their photographic works, and Elizabeth’s film and writing work.
I’m eager to see her new documentary, Wasted; a film that details human contact with wastewater and how it affects our lives and health.
If you don’t know just how talented Liz Pepin is, we can sum it up with the fact that she is a five time Emmy Award winner. She has directed and produced award winning works for PBS and independently.
I posted about Elizabeth’s amazing photo of Long Beach, NY here, and interviewed Elizabeth here.

Aside from the music, the thing I love about The Cheaters is that they are always doing something new. They never rest on their laurels, waiting for their big break. In the last year the group has:
- Released their new album, Midnight Run
- Went on the road for two weeks in support of Armed Forces Entertainment, playing for soldiers in Japan and Guam
- Released the music video for Blow My Mind
– Launched a new website
- Been named Band of the Week on PureSouthernRock.com
- Released new acoustic versions of some great tracks:
I Ain’t Comin Back – acoustic

I’ve seen lots of angles of the harsh yet photogenic surf spots around San Francisco, but nothing like this. I won’t name the place since the photog, Quin O’Hara doesn’t, but of all the shots I’ve seen this one ranks right up there with one self-taken shot by Lewis Samuels at the same spot.

But this one is something else, I’ve never seen this perspective. Probably because shooting this place from the water isn’t that fun…Currents, big sharks and big friggin boats anyone?
